What is L\u00edthica and why is it worthwhile?<\/h2>\n

L\u00edthica<\/a> is a foundation created to preserve Menorca’<\/a> s sandstone quarries and transform them into a unique cultural and scenic space. Strolling through its stone patios, paths and gardens is to understand the island from its raw material and its quarrying trade. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recognized as of Ethnological Interest<\/strong><\/a>It is part of the catalog of Historical Heritage of Menorca for its ethnological and landscape value. In 2019 it obtained the European Heritage Award \/ Europa Nostra<\/strong><\/a> for its exemplary recovery. <\/p>\n
